“Restoring the Promise” is a non-partisan, community-based discussion that invites participants to reflect on the impact of current immigration policies, the way immigration has shaped our nation and the constitutional questions that affects both non-U.S and U.S citizens alike. Through real-life stories, legal insight and historical analysis, the program explores what the Constitution guarantees in terms of legal rights and legal protections, why our immigration system is ineffective and needs reforms and myths and realities about immigration.
