Weekly Programs for School-Age Kids

Mondays:

Maker Mondays
10AM—4PM – East Falmouth Branch

Drop in any time between 10 AM and 4 PM for Maker Mondays—a fun, self-paced science activity for curious kids! Each week features a new hands-on experiment. No registration needed—just come by, explore at your own pace, and discover the wonders of science through playful, interactive projects. Perfect for budding scientists of all ages!

Games! Games! Games!
3:30PM—5PM – Main Library

Checkers, chess, cards, and more! Learn a classic game or try out one of the new ones from the library’s collection. Bring a friend or make a new one! (Intended for ages 6 and up, reading may be necessary.)

Block Party: LEGO at the Library
4PM—5:30PM – North Falmouth Branch

Join us on Mondays from 4:00pm to 5:30pm for Block Party: LEGO in the Library at the North Falmouth Branch! This is a drop-in LEGO building session and all are welcome! Please leave your own LEGO bricks at home (you wouldn’t want to lose them!)

Tuesdays:

Stay & Make: Drop in Craft 
10AM—2PM – North Falmouth Branch

Stop by and make a craft!  Suggested ages 3 and up, some adult assistance may be helpful.

Wednesdays:

Stay & Make: Drop in Craft
9:30AM—12:30 PM – East Falmouth Branch

Stop by and make a craft! Suggested ages 3 and up, some adult assistance may be helpful.

Thursdays:

Crack the Cipher!
1:30PM—6:30PM – East Falmouth Branch

Can you crack the code? Drop in and use your detective skills to solve a secret cipher. Decode the message, complete the challenge, and win a prize! No registration required—come anytime during the program.

LEGO Free Build
3:30PM—5PM – Main Library

Come build with us! Dive into thousands of bricks and build towering skyscrapers, tiny villages, or whatever strikes your fancy. (Intended for ages 6 and up)

Library LEGO Time
4:30PM—6:30PM – East Falmouth Branch

Join us for creative fun at the East Falmouth Library’s LEGO Time! Children ages 5 and up are invited to drop in and build their own LEGO masterpieces using the library’s  collection of bricks.  No registration required—just bring your creativity and get ready to build, play, and share your creations with new friends!

Fridays:

Scavenger Hunt
2PM—7PM – North Falmouth Branch

Scavenger Hunt! Search the room for the clues, solve the riddle and claim your prize!

Open Art Studio
3:30PM—5PM – Main Library

Get creative with our Open Art Studio! Check our online calendar for details about each week’s project. (While space and supplies last.)
