Weekly Programs for School Aged Kids
Mondays:
Maker Mondays
10AM—4PM – East Falmouth Branch
Drop in any time between 10 AM and 4 PM for Maker Mondays—a fun, self-paced science activity for curious kids! Each week features a new hands-on experiment. No registration needed—just come by, explore at your own pace, and discover the wonders of science through playful, interactive projects. Perfect for budding scientists of all ages!
Coding Club
3PM—5PM – Main Library
Drop in between 3:00 – 5:00 pm to build your coding skills! Learn the basics with logic games, such as Kodable and Hour of Code, or work your way through levels in Fiero Code to become an expert in a particular coding language. No matter your skill level, we will have games and projects for you to master. Chromebooks will be available. Participants are welcome to bring their own devices.
Block Party: LEGO at the Library
4PM—5:30PM – North Falmouth Branch
Join us on Mondays from 4:00pm to 5:30pm for Block Party: LEGO in the Library at the North Falmouth Branch! This is a drop-in LEGO building session and all are welcome! Please leave your own LEGO bricks at home (you wouldn’t want to lose them!)
Tuesdays:
Stay & Make: Drop in Craft
10AM—2PM – North Falmouth Branch
Stop by and make a craft! Suggested ages 3 and up, some adult assistance may be helpful.
Block Party: LEGO in the Library
3:30PM—5PM – Main Library
Come build with us! Children ages 6+ are welcome to use our massive LEGO collection to create anything they want. Leave your own LEGO bricks at home- we wouldn’t want them to get mixed up!
Wednesdays:

Art Club
3:30PM—5PM – Main Library
Get creative at the library with our weekly Art Club! Each session features a fun, hands-on project that kids can make and take home, from colorful decorations to imaginative art pieces. All materials are provided, and no registration is required—just drop in and start creating! Be sure to check in the Children’s Room or online the week before to see what exciting project we’ll be making next. This program is perfect for any age child who loves to create, explore, and express themselves through process art.
Thursdays:
Pokémon Club
3:30PM—5PM – Main Library
Love Pokémon? Did you know that those cards are also a game? Don’t be just a collector, be a Trainer! Get ready to catch, battle, trade, and learn together as we launch our very first Pokémon Club! We will catch Pokémon by matching them to energy cards, battle each other, and even take on some formidable Raid Bosses.
Recommended for ages 6 and up; this game requires reading, basic math, and gaming procedures. For now, leave your cards at home so they don’t get mixed up with ours. We will have everything you need!
Library LEGO Time
4:30PM—6:30PM – East Falmouth Branch
Join us for creative fun at the East Falmouth Library’s LEGO Time! Children ages 5 and up are invited to drop in and build their own LEGO masterpieces using the library’s collection of bricks. No registration required—just bring your creativity and get ready to build, play, and share your creations with new friends!

Come try your hand at some classic games… Sorry, Trouble, Connect 4, Mancala and more! All ages welcome, best for kids 6 and up.
