Thanks to the generosity of the Friends of the Falmouth Public Library, local book groups may now check out a convenient Book Club Kit. The pre-packed Book Club Kits are available at the Circulation Desk at the Main Library and may also be reserved by calling the desk at 508-457-2555 x 5 (they are currently not requestable online, but can be reserved by calling, or just picked up!).

What is a Book Club Kit?

A kit is a canvas tote bag with ten paperback copies and when available, a large print copy. The kit also has a discussion guide and additional resources. Book Club Kits circulate for six weeks and can be reserved with your CLAMS card. The Library hopes to purchase additional titles as interest, enthusiasm and suggestions come from local book club groups.

How to Reserve a Book Club Kit

Kits can be reserved for up to one year in advance, so that you can plan for the upcoming year. Although kits cannot be requested via the library catalog, you can browse the collection by employing a keyword search in the library catalog and by searching for “book club kit.” Once you find the one you would like, call the Circulation Desk to reserve it.
