The Friends of the Falmouth Public Library
Book Sales & Donations
The 2023 Friends of the Library Book Sale on the Library Lawn will take place:
- Thursday, June 29, 10AM – 4PM
- Friday, June 30, 10AM – 4PM
- Saturday July 1, 10AM – 4PM
- Sunday July 2, 10AM – 4PM (1/2 price day for all books)
- Monday July 3rd, 10AM – 12PM (final day – 10 books for $2)
The Friends of the Falmouth Public Library accept donations of boxes and bags of books by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please call during Library hours at 508-457-2555 ext. 2918. In preparation for the book sale, the Friends will stop accepting donations on June 17, 2023. They will resume accepting donations after the book sale on July 11, 2023.
With funds raised from membership dues, donations, and Book Sales, the Friends were able to provide the following gifts and services to the Library and the community of Falmouth:
- Joy of Learning academic classes covering a wide range of subjects
- Museum Passes for Boston and local area museums
- Generous funding for Children’s Programs at all three locations throughout the year
- Contribute to new Furniture for the Chill Zone, the Tween area, in the Children’s Room
- A new Circulation Desk for the East Falmouth Library
- Provide additional funds for eBooks
- Support for area book clubs
- Upgrades to library technology

About the Friends
The Friends of the Library are a group of citizens whose purpose is to support and enhance the programs and services of the Falmouth Public Library in cooperation with the Staff and Library Trustees. They are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to advancing the projects, programs, and services of the Falmouth Public Library. The Friends are happy to accept monetary donations.
