Neighborhood Falmouth and the Falmouth Public Library are jointly offering this program on Thursday, September 26th at 1:30 pm, which is open to the public. Volunteering is an act of giving back to build and improve our community and enrich the lives of others. But it is also a powerful way to find purpose and meaning in our own lives. Such purpose has been shown to be associated with a higher likelihood of healthy longevity. Dr. Roger Landry is a preventive medicine physician, author of award-winning Live Long, Die Short: A Guide to Authentic Health and Successful Aging and President of Brightside of Longevity, which provides older adults customized, multimedia, holistic content to achieve a healthy longevity. Trained at Tufts
University School of Medicine and Harvard University School of Public Health, Dr. Landry is also the host of The Brightside of Longevity, a podcast focused on health and resilience. There will be a question-and-answer period directly after the talk.
