Security System

In order to minimize library losses, the library staff may request that patrons NOT bypass the security system in any manner.

Parcels, bags, briefcases, backpacks, and other belongings should pass through the gates held in a normal manner, not unduly raised or lowered or passed around the checkpoint.

In special situations, (e.g. a power outage) the library staff may ask you to empty the contents of a bag, briefcase, backpack, etc.
