There was great excitement in our meeting room on Tuesday night, as the crafters gathered in order to make holiday gifts! They decorated candles & empty Altoids’ tins, planted paper white bulbs, and made a Cape Cod paper ornament. What fun! You can see some photos of the event over our our flickr page. Many thanks to Ruth Bleakley of Concertina Press for once again participating in this workshop. And many thanks to the Friends and the Trustees of the Falmouth Public Library for making these workshops available. This is the third year we have had a holiday gift making workshop, and they are always standing room only, and lots of fun!
Want to continue to get in the holiday spirit? Listen to The Point with Mindy Todd on Monday, December 12th at either 9:30 a.m. or 7:30 p.m. when Mindy, Melanie, and I talk about books to share during the holidays and even a couple of books you might want to buy as presents. This show was pre-recorded, so we won’t be able to take phone calls, but feel free to leave your holiday book suggestions (cookbooks, craft books, great holiday stories) by commenting on our blog, or posting a comment on the library’s Facebook Page or The Point’s Facebook Page. Or just send us an e-mail at or give us a call at 508-457-2555, ext. 6 and I’ll add your suggestions to our list. Our complete list of suggestions will be posted on Monday morning!
