I know lots of our patrons (or members as one library leader has recently suggested we call you) don’t have any interest in Facebook, but we do post lots of comments on Facebook that you might be interested in, so I thought I’d just share here three messages I posted today. We want everyone to know what new books are arriving!
If you want to get a head-start on your Christmas reading, a whole bunch of novels just arrived. His Mistress by Christmas by Victoria Alexander, A Lawman’s Christmas by Linda Lael Miller, 1225 Christmas Tree Lane by Debbie Macomber, An O’Brien Family Christmas by Sherryl Woods and An Angel for Christmas by Heather Graham. Merry Christmas!
For those of you with children who are celebrating the New Year you might want to try Jewish Holidays Cookbook : festive meals for celebrating the year, available in the children’s room: J 641.56 Blo and upstairs we have the Encyclopedia of Jewish Food by Gil Marks (656 pages worth of food!) 641.5676 MAR.
For the new school year we have two intriguing titles. do i get my allowance before or after i’m grounded?: Stop Fighting, Start Talking, and Get to Know Your Teen by Vanessa Van Petten (NEW 306.974 Van) and The End of Molasses Classes: getting our kids unstuck, 101 extraordinary solutions for parents and teachers by Ron Clark (NEW 371.192 CLA)
