It’s the most fun you can have at the Library! In addition to enjoying yummy desserts & lemonade, the audience will hear a panel of 3 popular Massachusetts mystery authors.
Spencer Quinn, author of the Chet & Bernie mysteries will be talking about his current book THE DOG WHO KNEW TOO MUCH, as well as titles forthcoming later this year. Publishers Weekly noted the popularity of these mysteries and recently profiled Mr. Quinn (also known locally as Peter Abrahams). PW praised the author for creating a whodunit series with narration true to the human voice of Bernie and to the canine “voice” of Chet.
In response to THE WHOLE LIE, his second mystery novel, Steve Ulfelder has also been highlighted in a Publishers Weekly profile. Ulfelder’s stories focus on life in hard-luck areas of central Massachusetts, notably Framingham, His stories unwind against the grimy backdrop of auto repair and an exceptional AA group called the Barnburners.
Tom MacDonald will talk about his popular debut novel THE CHARLESTOWN CONNECTION. This mystery novel also features a main character who has battled alcohol. MacDonald leads the reader through the streets of Boston, evading law enforcement while attempting to solve a deadly riddle.
The date is Wednesday, August 15 at the Falmouth Public Library, 300 Main Street. Dessert begins at 6:30 pm, with the author panel beginning at 7:00. The entire program is open to the public FREE of charge.
