Our Assistant Director, Linda Collins, shares with us the newest feature in the library stacks.
“The Falmouth Public Library is happy to announce the new Art Walk featuring art as part of the library’s cultural mission. The Art Walk gallery space is available for exhibits of artwork, with priority given to works of local and regional interest. The display of artwork in the library enhances the environment for library patrons and helps to promote and celebrate local art and artists.
Come and see the Upper Cape Camera Club exhibit “Unique Views of Falmouth” hanging in the new Library Art Walk Exhibit area. The club has brought forty-four beautiful photos showing off both the magnificent area in which we live and their talent as photographers. The photographs will be here through the third week of August.
So where is this Art Walk? Just head to the wall nearest the non-fiction stacks between the 700s and the 900s, look down an aisle, and get a wonderful surprise!”
