Chase’s Calendar of Events is a reference book that we sometimes cite for the Happenings at the Falmouth Public Library column. It is a goldmine of information. One feature is the section “Spotlight on the Past” which highlights anniversaries of various events from 25, 50, 75, 100, 150, even 200 years ago.
