Join Jennifer Welborn, former science teacher and author of the award-winning STEM picture book Dr. Rosie Helps the Animals, for a fun and educational event all about veterinary care! Inspired by real veterinarians, this story time introduces young readers to the world of animal medicine.
After the reading, kids will become veterinarians for the day—diagnosing and treating a stuffed animal patient! Bring your favorite stuffed friend from home or borrow one at the event. Each child will receive a mini vet kit and treatment sheet to take home and continue the fun.
