Library Support Fund

The Support Fund

The Support Fund provides supplemental funding for capital projects that improve the Falmouth Public Library.  Municipal tax revenues support the library’s on-going operations, collections, staffing, and maintenance.  There are other functions that need private support to augment a strained municipal capital budget.  Supplemental funding ensures that capital needs can be met, and adds to the library’s continued long-term stability.  The Support Fund meets that need.

Gifts to the Falmouth Public Library Support Fund , a 501(c)(3) entity, are tax-deductible. The Federal tax ID number is 46-4475142

Fund Management

Operation of the Support Fund is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors, with officers and members elected annually.  Members consist of Library Trustees and members of the community.  By-laws govern all activities of the Board.  Board meetings are held monthly.
