Book Sales & Donations

Thank you for your support of the 2019 Friends of the Falmouth Public Library Summer Book Sale.

Book Donations Reopen on Monday, July 22nd

If you wish to donate used books to the Friends Book Sales, please place materials in the Friends’ book drop on the lower level.  The Friends sponsor a summer sale in July and a holiday sale in December. Proceeds from the Friends’ sales support library in numerous ways by funding programs, museum passes, services and items that the town budget does not fund.

Need Help Bringing Books into the Library? Members of the Friends are here on Monday mornings to help. Call the Friends at 508-457-2555 ext. 2918.

As a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to advancing the projects, programs, and services of the Falmouth Public Library, the Friends are also happy to accept monetary donations.

Last year with the funds raised from membership dues, donations, and the Summer and Holiday Book Sales,  the Friends were able to provide the following gifts and services to the Library and the community of Falmouth:

  • Joy of Learning academic classes covering a wide range of subjects
  • Museum Passes for Boston and local area museums
  • Popular Databases such as
  • The new EXPRESS collection for those who are eager to read the latest bestsellers and watch the newest movies
  • Friends provide generous funding for Children’s Programs throughout the year
