Tax Forms Have Arrived

We have received the newly redesigned 1040 forms and instructions, as well as the Massachusetts resident and non-resident booklets. They are on display in the Katharine Lee Bates Lobby.

Important things to know:
The IRS is no longer using 1040A and 1040EZ forms. Everyone will use the new 1040 forms.

The state is sending out fewer state booklets every year as they transition to efiling. We have a small number of booklets and when we run out, we will not get any more. Please take only one.

Any additional forms you may need can be printed out from the IRS.gov and Mass.gov/dor websites from our public computers in the reference room. Printing is .20 cents a page for black and white and .40 cents a page for color, single-sided copies only. Payment is cash only – coins, $1.00 and $5.00 bills.

Low/moderate income taxpayers of any age can get free in-person tax preparation help from AARP volunteers at Gus Canty Community Center from February 5 – April 16. Appointments are required. Call Falmouth Senior Center at 508-540-0196 to schedule.
