Seven or Eight Deaths of Stella Fortuna, Monday, August 3rd, 7 pm
Come hear author Juliet Grames discuss her new novel, The Seven or Eight Deaths of Stella Fortuna on Monday evening, August 5th, from 7-8:30 pm at the Falmouth Public Library, at 300 Main Street.
From Calabria, Italy to Connecticut, it’s a sweeping family saga about sisterhood, secrets, Italian immigration, the American dream, and one woman’s tenacious fight against her own fate. It begins on the cusp of World War II, and continues into the present.
Juliet Grames was born in Hartford, Connecticut, and grew up in a tight-knit Italian-American family. A book editor, she has spent the last decade at Soho Press, where she is associate publisher and curator of the Soho Crime imprint. The Seven or Eight Deaths of Stella Fortuna is her first novel.
She will read from her book and take questions from the audience. The book will be available to buy after the talk from Eight Cousins Books.
