Goodnight Stranger talk, Saturday, August 3rd at 2 pm,
Come hear Falmouth native Miciah Bay Gault discuss her new suspense mystery novel, Goodnight Stranger, on Saturday, August 3rd, from 2-4 pm at the Falmouth Public Library, at 300 Main Street! The book takes place in fictional versions of the Cape and Islands.
A gripping debut of literary suspense, Goodnight Stranger follows one young woman held captive by her past and by family secrets.
She and her brother are in their late twenties when a stranger enters their small world on Wolf Island. Lydia is convinced that the man is the reincarnation of their baby brother, who died when they were young, as he seems to know so much about them. They desperately attempt to find the truth.
Miciah grew up in Falmouth, and attended Falmouth High School-the poet, and fellow Falmouth High School graduate, Carl Philips was one of her teachers there. She also worked at the Falmouth Public Library in high school! She now teaches in the Writing and Publishing M.F.A. program at Vermont College of Fine Arts and is the coordinator of the Vermont Book Award.
She will read from her book and take questions from the audience-refreshments will be served! The book will be available to buy from Eight Cousins Books.
