Music through the Decades

Join us on Wednesday, February 12 from 3:00 to 4:15 PM for a wonderful afternoon of music at the Falmouth Public Library.

Using keyboard, trumpet, and vocals, David Polansky presents the music of
George M. Cohan, Fats Waller, Irving Berlin, Hoagy Carmichael, and a host of others – music inspired by the advent of the automobile, the two world wars, the Roaring 20’s, the great depression, the wild west, and much more.

David engages the audience, taking questions, performing requests, and telling very funny anecdotes about famous musicians as well as some about his own life as a musician.  David even has a Louis Armstrong impersonation that is so authentic that he’s often asked “Was that a recording?”.

A career musician, David has played with Sandler and Young, Phyllis Diller, Henny Youngman, Ray Bolger, Arthur Fiedler, The Platters, The Coasters …. The list goes on and on.

This program is a real winner that very often ends with a standing ovation. Donʼt miss it.

Registration is requested, but not required.  Please register online at or call the reference department at 508-457-2555 x 7.

Thank you to the Trustees of the Falmouth Public Library for generously sponsoring this concert.
