Register: Tech Classes
If you are nervous about using your new phone or tablet, we have great news for you. We recently announced a new schedule of classes at the library with award-winning teacher, Lori Cooney.
We invite you to take an Explore class to become familiar with your new device, learn about its native applications, and become comfortable with changing basic settings. You can expect to learn things like how to turn on, put to sleep, silence and shut off your device safely, how to make calls and compose text messages, as well as how to set up and check your email.
Once you take an Explore class, you can move on to the Master class where you’ll learn more about your phone and tablet and be able to use all of its features successfully.
Requirements: Please bring your fully-charged device with you to class. If you are taking an iPhone or iPad class, you will need to have the latest iOS update installed. How to update your iOS [instructions]
We hope you can join us for one class or more at the library. All classes are free and open to the public.
