Explore Your iPad with Lori on Saturday, January 30
When you think of the word “iPad,” what comes to mind? You’re not alone if you’re fascinated by this lightweight, wireless device that can connect magically to the internet, but are also left wondering: “What else can I do with it”? “What else could I be doing with it?”
You can find out about all the ways you can use an iPad during our free class in next weekend. You might remember seeing Lori Cooney in the library a few months ago when she taught an introduction to iPhotography for adults, or when she was here a few weeks ago teaching an introduction to the iPad. She will back to teach this class, a much-asked for beginner’s workshop for iPad users who are interested in using diverse apps, on January 30 from 2:30-4:00PM. Lori and a library staff member will be available after the class to take individual questions. Registration is required, so please sign up as soon as you can.
If you can’t make it to our class, we have plentiful resources here at the library, and even a free subscription to Lynda.com, the behemoth resource of online courses. To access Lynda.com, visit our homepage, click on “Library Databases,” and then find Lynda.com. After you sign up for a free account, you can search for a topic you’d like to know more about, such as iPad or iPhone. Library staff members are also always here to help you for no charge. Bring your device and we will help you with the rest!
We look forward to seeing you at the library soon!
