Wood Carving Exhibit at the Library

You won’t want to miss the delightful exhibit of wood carvings by Vincent Zavorskas that is up in the library from now until the end of the month. There is a case of his fabulous creatures in the Katharine Lee Bates Lobby as well as in the case outside of the Young Adult Room. I took a few photos to give you the idea, but you really need to see them in person if you happen to be around. The only disappointing part of the exhibit? Mr. Zavorskas creates these carvings for his own pleasure, they are not for sale. All the more reason you need to stop by and see them in person before they vanish at the end of the month.

Do you have some artwork that would fit in our exhibit cases? Let us know!
