For those of you who were lucky enough to witness the Friends of the Falmouth Public Library flash mob ... I’ve discovered more details about the event! If you weren’t there ... there is actually a video of them practicing for the event which you can watch on youtube! I had no idea there were that many singers!! Hope they do a flash mob in the library one day (like in February when we could really use some entertaining).

The “America the Beautiful” flash mob at the Falmouth, MA, Public Library Book Sale, Saturday, July 2, 2011 was led by John Yankee, Kate Housman, and the Falmouth Chorale. Ninety (!) singers from nine choruses participated. Others were: Belle Weather, Cantus Novus, Choraliers, Greater Falmouth Mostly all-Male Men’s Chorus, Mastersingers by the Sea, Notescape, Solstice Singers. and Woods Hole Cantata Consort.

Thanks to everyone who participated! It was such a delightfully unexpected book sale event.
