Ready to learn to fish??!!
On Thursday, August 23, from 10:00 AM - Noon there will be a Learn to Fish program at the EAST Falmouth Branch. This program is co-sponsored by Jim Lagacy, Program Coordinator with MassWildlife (Massachusetts Division of Fisheries & Wildlife), and Henry Abrams, Boy Scout Troop 42. Henry (whose mother happens to be a library trustee!) is working towards becoming an Eagle Scout, and will be using this event as part of his Eagle Scout service project. People of ALL ages welcome!
(The Rain Date is August 27, 1:00 - 3:00 PM)
By the way, if you can’t make the program, the MassWIldlife web page has great information on fishing on their web page! You’ll also find that we own quite a few books on freshwater fishing, including Freshwater Fishing Tips : 300 tips for catching more and bigger fish and The Complete Guide to Freshwater Fishing.
