The Falmouth Public Library is lucky to be hosting an Author Visit with Brian Lies, local(ish (Duxbury)) and world famous children’s author/illustrator. Brian was chosen as the illustrator for the National Summer Reading Program we’re participating in, and has illustrated a wonderful new picture book by I.C. Springman titled More as well as written and illustrated the beloved series Bats at the Library, Bats at the Ballgame, etc. AND in the fall, Brian’s illustrations will augment a new Middle Grade Novel by W.H. Beck titled Malcom at Midnight.
See his stuff at his website, www.brianlies.com and get ready to welcome Brian and his publicist/wife Laurel on Friday July 20. Eight Cousins has generously offered to share the fabulousness of this opportunity with us. They will be selling books at the event, so there will a chance to get a signed book! More details to follow as they come.
